The upper press sprays hot steam on the upper to humidify it, while the lower press heats up the inside and the toe cap.
The temperature can be indicated and controlled with absolute precision.

On the control panel it is possible to change:
> The temperature of the lower press (from 100^0C to 200^0C)
> The steam injection time (from 0 to 9,9 seconds)
> The whole cycle time (from 0 to 99 seconds)
